I have always been a firm believer in the “tanner the better”. Being tanned makes everyone look more toned, healthier and just all around sexier… especially naked! Since tanning beds and direct sun with no sunscreen is a big no-no, I went on a search for the ultimate fake tan. Now that I’m a mommy, I really don’t have the luxury of being able to run to the salon and get a perfect airbrush tanning. So a self tanner was my best choice and I’m going to share my secret for having the perfect bronze without that nasty orange look.
Most products I’ve used seem to need 4 applications before I get that perfect shade… and I HATE any self tanner that goes on white, and takes a day to brown up. I want instant gratification, like most women!
So my JennaFind for tanning is…. SUN Glisee’
You can find this at Sephora and most high end beauty supplies. They have many products in this line. Now, for the body they have an actual sponge roll on the bottle that gets my tan perfectly even, without screwing up the palms of my hands, although, if you need to blend after.. always use rubber gloves. Also, if you have an accident and get it caked on your ankle bones, use toothpaste to remove it!
For your face I recommend Faux Tan by Bare Escentuals – its stocked at Sephora also! I love this Tanner for the face, it seems to give me the beach bunny glow in one application. It doesn’t get cakey or blotchy even when you put makeup on directly after! This is fantastic for men also!
I recommend applying these products once a week, and it will give you a little extra bounce in your step…
Hope everyone loves it as much as I do!

Jenna – I was lucky enough to get a picture with you at UFC 103. Please take a look at the attached blog. Like you and Tito, my wife and I have twin baby boys. They are a little over 2 years old. God bless you and Tito for having young twin boys. You must have your hands full!
Thank you very much for taking the picture with me at UFC 103. I am one of your biggest fans.
Sincerely,
Jack

I am so totally “psyched” bout your bloggin’ concerning Mommy things, women glam & just being a girl “stuff”! The tan thing really hits home since reaching the 40 benchmark this year & the sudden attack of aging skin (it does hit overnight!). Also, being a single mother of 4 girls, I’ve suddenly realized the importance of a healthy lifestyle, plus, setting a positive example of responsible living for 4 sets of beautiful eyes watching my every move. Thanks so much for all your insight & helpful tidbits.
I am a huge fan-
-Luv Ya JJ
Best of Wishes!

Great idea!!! I love people that have the ability to shop for lots of different things and give feedback on them…so us regular gals don’t have the major expense of trying things and they don’t work. I wasn’t a big fan in the past but this blog you are doing I feel is a great thing! I can’t stand people that say they wake up in the morning looking perfect. UHHH and to know that you have to work at certain things to look a certain way assures the rest of us that there is hope!!! LOL. Will check back daily for updates!
Thanks!

Love the blog Jenna! You always look stunning so getting beauty advice from you totally rocks. I’m a fair skinned, blonde hair/blue eyed lady and I always have trouble with self tanning products that look orange. Another one I’ve found that works well is the True Blue Spa Solar Power Air Brush Tan from Bath & Body Works. It sprays on really evenly and you don’t have to rub it in. Even more fun if you can get your man to help you

Have you never tanned in tanning beds before? I think I read in your book that you did? When you were younger that is.. Also, can you do a post on plastic surgery maybe? What have you done?

Also, something you have to write about is hair extensions. You had short hair not too lang ago, and now you have long hair that looks completely natural.. What kind of extensions do you use?

Hi Jenna,
I went to Sephora the other day to look for these tanning products and they did not have the Sun Glisse’. The did have the other one though. Do you know anywhere else they might have the Sun Glisse’? I tried to Google but found nothing. Thanks again. You look so amazing after having those twins.

Hey Jenna,
I just tried a fake tan last night and was impressed with the results. It’s Famous Daves Moisture Tan, and it doesn’t smell, stain clothes, or turn you orange!

To Everyone who would love to try the Sun Glisee product: We can’t find it because it was spelled wrong. Not everyone is perfect even though Jenna always looks perfect!
